About de Veer Plumbing, LLC

de Veer Plumbing, LLC was founded in 2020 by Master Plumber Matthew de Veer. Matthew began his plumbing career at Earl's Plumbing & Heating LLC in Metairie, Louisiana. He completed his 4 year plumbing internship while working there and went on to earn his Journeyman plumber's license. While working with various plumbers throughout the years, Matt learned the value of hard work and truly knew the value that trade workers had in life and in business. He took pride in all the jobs he completed and always gave customers his full respect and attention. He never wanted to leave a customer disappointed or unsatisfied in the work he completed and worked hard every day to make sure his workmanship was of the highest quality. 

 

Although most of his experience is in residential plumbing, Matthew also had the opportunity to work more on the commercial side of plumbing. For 6 months, he lived and worked in Northern California and helped construct the plumbing structure for the Great Wolf Lodge located in Manteca, California. Although this opportunity had its challenges, he persevered and learned a few new techniques of the trade.

Upon returning to Slidell, Louisiana, Matthew continued to work in the plumbing industry while making plans for his own company. He had a vision and wanted to see it through. Through hard work, dedication, and time, Matthew earned his Master Plumbers license and was able to make his lifelong dream become a reality.  Slidell, Louisiana will always be home to Matt and there was no better city to start his company's foundation. He decided on the name de Veer Plumbing and worked hard to create a trusted and reliable plumbing business for the residents of Slidell. At the beginning of 2024, Matt and his wife decided to make the move from Slidell to Abita Springs and they hope to expand their business customer base to the cities of Abita Springs, Covington, Mandeville, and Madisonville. The Northshore is a wonderful place to be and de Veer Plumbing hopes to become a well-known and trusted business in the community.
